Pac-Man is the main character from the arcade game developed by Namco and licensed for distribution in the United States by Midway, first released in Japan on May 22, 1980. He appeared in the Drawn Together episode, Gay Bash, being portrayed as a transvestite who has Mrs. Pac-Man as his female alter-ego.

Biography[]

In the Drawn Together episode "Gay Bash", Xandir meets Pac-Man (with whom he is friends) at his gay bash. Pac-Man is surprised to learn about his homosexuality and Xandir tells him that he's just getting used to coming out and urges Pac-Man not to let his ex-wife know, believing Mrs. Pac-Man to be his ex-wife. This is because Mrs. Pac-Man is good friends with Xandir's Girlfriend and Xandir isn't ready for his girlfriend to know. However, it is revealed that Pac-Man is actually a transvestite and Mrs. Pac-Man is his female disguise, whereas he puts on a bow and pretends to be another person. Pac-Man made it clear that he was not going to keep his mouth shut and walked off, telling Xandir that Mrs. Pacman already knows. He thought that the next chance he got, he would tell Xandir's girlfriend the truth. Xandir, fortunately, told his girlfriend about it before she could and that ended their relationship together.

In the episode Spelling Applebee's, a one-off gag involved Captain Hero having multiple personality disorder and started acting out a bunch of alternate personas. One of which was a Pac-Man like personality, where his mouth and eyes resembles Pac-Man and he went across the screen, chomping at the air, like Pac-Man.

In the episode Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care, Captain Hero's 12-Year-Old Self had a poster of Pac-Man on his wall. There was also an in-between scenes transition, which involved the original 1880's version of Pac-Man going across the screen.
